Poland's gg deficit at PLN 271.014 mln for 2025 - Eurostat's fiscal notification
Poland's general government deficit in Poland in 2025 will rise to PLN 271.014 billion (EUR 58.8 bln) from PLN 236.562 billion (EUR 51.3 bln) in 2024, which translate into 6.95 percent of GDP, based on calculations by PAP Biznes derived from Poland’s fiscal notification presented by EU stats office Eurostat.
The deficit of the central government institutions subsector is expected to be PLN 272.010 billion (EUR 59.0 bln) this year, compared to PLN 243.872 billion (EUR 53.0 bln) in the previous year.
The local government institutions subsector is projected to have a surplus of PLN 11.484 billion (EUR 2.5 bln), down from PLN 14.105 billion (EUR 3.1 bln) previously.
The social security funds subsector is expected to have a deficit of PLN 10.487 billion (EUR 2.3 bln), compared to a deficit of PLN 6.795 billion (EUR 1.5 bln) in the prior period.
