Poland's gg investment expenditure up 8.3 pct y/y in Q3 2024
Poland's general government investment expenditure in the third quarter of 2024 rose by 8.3 percent, due to the military expenditures, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
"In the third quarter of 2024, there was a nominal increase in the general government investment expenditure by 8.3 percent year on year (an increase in relation to GDP by 0.1 percentage points), despite a decrease in investments carried out by local governments (a decrease of around 11.0 percent year on year in cash terms," the ministry stated.
"The increase in investment expenditure was largely due to the increase supply of military equipment," it added.
