Poland's PM sets up inter-ministerial team to counter grey economy
Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has signed an order appointing an inter-ministerial team to counter the grey economy, the PM's office KPRM announced. The work of the team is to be coordinated by the Ministry of Finance.
"The ordinance addresses the limitations encountered in Poland by individual ministries and institutions in effectively curbing the grey economy," said Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski, quoted in the information.
"Effective implementation of this task requires the cooperation of various government administration bodies, as is the case in other European Union countries (e.g. France, Ireland or Finland)," he added.
The centralisation of activities through inter-ministerial cooperation within the team is expected to increase the potential of Polish administrative bodies in reducing the grey economy.
