Polish development bank plans to strengthen cooperation with MinFin on debt management

Poland's state development bank BGK plans to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Finance on debt management, BGK said in its 2024 financial report.


"Strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Finance in the field of public debt management and stabilisation of the Polish financial market will be a task of fundamental added value for the state," BGK wrote.

"We will effectively carry out the orders of the Ministry of Finance, the needs of funds placed at BGK and transactions with public and private entities in the foreign exchange, capital, money and derivatives markets. Our marketing and issuance activities will be closely coordinated with the ministry to achieve the best possible overall effect in the context of the entire market," it added.
