Dr Irena Eris SADr Irena Eris cosmetics cancels IPO due to unfavorable market conditions
Cosmetics firm Dr Irena Eris cancelled its IPO due to unfavorable market conditions and ensuing inability to reach satisfactory pricing in book building, the company said in a press statement.
While institutional investors appreciated company's strategy and business model and subscriptions among retail investors "attracted large interest," the company "eventually decided to cancel the public offering," CEO Pawel Orfinger said, as quoted in the statement. "Amid current conditions when it comes to the primary market we were unable to set the price of shares offered at a level satisfactory for us."
Last week Dr Irena Eris published its IPO prospectus as it planned to raise some PLN 140 mln from the issue to finance acquisitions as well as organic growth on foreign markets. The company planned to issue up to 12.5 mln shares (including 11 mln new shares) for a maximum price of PLN 12.8 apiece.
Book building and subscriptions ended on June 27.
