Grupa Azoty SAAzoty Group integrates companies providing business support services
Listed chemical group Azoty's management board passed a directional resolution on the integration of companies providing services in the area of business support, including but not limited to investment preparation and renovation, the company said in a press release.
"Six group's companies are included in the integration process, whose activities focus, among other things, on the design, preparation and implementation of investments, overhauls, servicing or maintaining the efficiency of industrial lines," said CEO of Grupa Azoty Adam Leszkiewicz, quoted in the press release.
"The aim of the activities carried out is to develop an optimum integration model, guaranteeing maximum cost optimisation and a high level of service - both for the capital group and for external customers," he added.
Leszkiewicz pointed out that the group is consistently implementing a schedule of restructuring activities across the capital group.
"Over the last few months, we have implemented, among other things, savings projects in the area of fixed costs and overheads, renegotiated key agreements with suppliers and trading partners, and increased business efficiency, which translated into an increase in sales results in the first half of the year," he listed.
"The next step is the integration of companies that deal with, among other things, renovation or investment design. These are functions that are needed within the group, but we have a concrete plan for a new operating model for these companies, primarily to reduce costs," the CEO added.
CEO Leszkiewicz said that the group has already identified areas of synergy so that over the coming months it will implement a new organisational and business structure for the companies that have been included in the integration process.
