Bank Gospodarstwa KrajowegoGaz-System likely to sign PLN 2 bln loan agreement with BGK under KPO plan in coming weeks
In the coming weeks, Poland's gas infrastructure operator Gaz-System may sign an agreement with Poland's state development bank BGK for more than PLN 2 billion (EUR 478.6 mln) of EU funds under the national recovery plan KPO for the onshore part of the gas pipelines from the future floating LNG terminal in Gdansk, Gaz-System's CEO Slawomir Hinc told the Europower conference.
"I think that in the next few days, maybe in the next week or two, we are planning to sign an agreement with BGK, on the basis of which, within the framework of KPO, we will guarantee ourselves funds exceeding PLN 2 billion for the implementation of the onshore part of the gas pipeline project from the floating terminal," Hinc said.
Poland's state development bank BGK, as the EU payments operator, provides preferential loans within the national recovery plan KPO.
