Allegro.eu S.A.Allegro e-commerce invests in central logistics hub in Piotrkow Trybunalski
Listed e-commerce platform Allegro has invested in a central logistics hub in Piotrkow Trybunalski, the group announced in a press release. The new sorting facility is to be opened in the fourth quarter of 2026.
As reported, the investments are being carried out by Reino IO, and the new sorting facility is intended to strengthen the entire Allegro Delivery network, created in cooperation with partners: DHL eCommerce Polska, DPD Polska and ORLEN Paczka.
"Every investment in One by Allegro's infrastructure strengthens our Allegro Delivery partnership programme. (...) Allegro currently has smaller warehouses and transhipment centres throughout Poland, which allow deliveries from the platform to be made on average within 24 hours of dispatch," said COO Jakub Kloczewiak, quoted in the press release.
As reported, the new sorting facility will also play an important role in handling international shipments, especially in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.
According to Allegro's head of delivery operations and sales Grzegorz Szaton, the facility being built in Reino IO Logistics Park will have an area of nearly 27,000 square metres. The new hub's opening is planned for the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2026.
