AmRest Holdings SEAmRest hospitality assumes mid-single-digit sales growth for ‘25, CAPEX below EUR 200 mln
Listed restaurant operator AmRest assumes mid-single-digit sales growth and an EBITDA margin at a similar level to 2024 for 2025, the group said in a presentation following the publication of 2024 financial results. The group's CAPEX is expected to be below EUR 200 million.
In 2025, the number of new restaurant openings is expected to be at the similar year-on-year level.
In 2024, the group's consolidated revenues amounted to EUR 2,556.3 million, up by 5.1 percent year on year. The group's EBITDA amounted to EUR 430.4 million, up by 13.5 percent year on year.
The EBITDA margin was 16.8 percent, up from 15.6 percent in 2023.
In 2024, the parent company's net profit was EUR 8.4 million in 2024, down from EUR 44.9 million the previous year.
In the fourth quarter of 2024 alone, AmRest posted EBITDA of EUR 111.1 million, up from EUR 96.2 million in the prior year period. The PAP Biznes consensus was for EUR 98.2 million EBITDA.
The group's revenue in the fourth quarter of 2024 amounted to EUR 665.3 million against a consensus of EUR 652.8 million. In the prior year period, sales reached EUR 628.9 million.
The parent company's net profit in the fourth quarter amounted to EUR 9.6 million against a loss of EUR 5.8 million a year earlier. Analysts had predicted a net profit of EUR 9.2 million.
At the end of 2024, the group's leverage ratio was 1.82x.
CAPEX in 2024 was EUR 194 million against EUR 214.9 million a year earlier.
In 2024, AmRest opened 109 restaurants. At the same time, 251 renovations were carried out.
As at the end of December, AmRest managed a network of 2,099 restaurants under eight brands in 22 countries. A year earlier, the chain had 2,163 units.
