Budimex SABudimex builder has PLN 615.9 mln attrib. net profit in 2024, in line with estimates
Listed builder Budimex had PLN 615.9 million (EUR 146.8 mln) attributable net profit in 2024, and revenue for the year stood at PLN 9.1 billion (EUR 2.17 mln), the company said in a market filing. The result is in line with earlier estimates
Gross profit on sales in 2024 amounted to PLN 1.16 billion (EUR 276.5 mln). Gross profitability on sales in 2024 was 12.7 percent, while in 2023 the ratio was 11.5 percent.
The order backlog of the Budimex group at the end of 2024 was PLN 17.8 billion (EUR 4.24 bln) compared to PLN 13.14 billion (EUR 3.13 bln) at the end of 2023.
The value of contracts signed by the group in 2024 was PLN 12.52 billion (EUR 2.98 bln) compared to PLN 8.3 billion (EUR 1.98 bln) in 2023.
"The Group intends to systematically strengthen its position in the volume construction segment and to actively win new orders in the industrial and energy, railway and hydrotechnical sectors. At the same time, it remains open to implementing projects in the public-private partnership model," the report said.
In 2025, the Budimex group plans capital expenditure of approximately PLN 270 million (EUR 64.4 mln), of which approximately PLN 120 million (EUR 28.6 mln) is attributable to Budimex SA.
The main outlays concern the acquisition of construction and railway machinery and the implementation of IT projects, as well as investments in renewable energy sources.
Capital expenditures planned by the unit FBSerwis group will concern investments in the area of municipal services and means of transport.
