CD Project gaming sees fair chance of reaching goal of PLN 2 bln net profit in 2023-2026

Listed video games developer CD Project sees “fair chance” of reaching its goal of PLN 2 bln net profit in 2023-2026, as envisaged in its share-based incentive program, the company’s CFO Piotr Nielubowicz said.


“The earnings condition for 2023 to 2026 was set at PLN 2 bln in cumulative net profit. After 11 out of 16 quarters, PLN 700 mln still remains to be earned to reach this target. Although it's a very ambitious goal, we believe that if things go according to our plan, we have a fair chance of reaching it,” Nielubowicz said during an audio webcast.

He added that given the company’s current progress, he sees a chance that new content hinted upon in recent calls and reports may see release in the coming year, having an impact on the company’s results and increasing the likelihood of achieving the earnings condition for the first stage of the incentive programme.

CD Project’s goals are PLN 2 bln of cumulative net profits for 2023-2026 and PLN 3 bln for 2024-2027.
