CI Games SECI Games focuses on 'Project 3'; sees sentiment improving after LoTF updates
Listed video games developer CI Games is focusing on 'Project 3', the next game in the 'Lords of the Fallen' series, which is scheduled for release in 2026, the company's CEO Marek Tyminski told a video conference. CI Games sees LoTF sentiment improving after running more than 50 updates.
"Project 3 is the next game under the Lords of the Fallen IP. (...) The game's release is planned for 2026, it is on the right track for release next year," CEO Tyminski said.
"It will be another big game, which will be available in 'single player' and 'co-op' modes from day one," he added.
The CEO continued that a trailer for the game is likely to be released in the next few months.
Total sales of 'Lords of the Fallen 2.0' are currently approaching 2 million copies.
"We've really managed to turn around sentiment towards the franchise with version 2.0. (...)Those 50 updates and improving the game with each update and then the release of 2.0 have all contributed to this success," Tyminski said.
The CEO assessed that the company achieved solid results in 2024, given that CI Games had no major release last year.
CI Games posted a net loss of PLN 6.6 million (EUR 1.5 mln) on revenues of PLN 80.8 million (EUR 18.9 mln) in 2024, against a net profit of PLN 7.6 million (EUR 1.8 mln) and revenues of PLN 236.3 million (EUR 55.2 mln) in 2023.
CI Games also reported an operating loss of PLN 3.9 million (EUR 911,600) against an EBIT of PLN 23.4 million (EUR 5.5 mln) in 2023.
