Dom Development SADom Development real estate sells 1,033 flats net in Q1, hands over 984
Listed real estate developer Dom Development sold 1,033 apartments in the first quarter of 2025 and handed over 984 units to customers during this period, the group said in a press release.
The financial result for the first quarter of 2025 is mainly influenced by handovers in the projects: Osiedle Urbino (133) and Apartamenty Literacka (66) in Warsaw, Osiedle Synteza (88) and Osiedle przy Bloniach (66) in the Tricity, Osiedle Miedzyleska (148) and Osiedle Harmonia (127) in Wroclaw, and Osiedle 29. Aleja (63 units) in Cracow.
"The first months of 2025 brought a continuation of the trends observed at the end of last year, including a stabilisation of flat prices on the primary market, resulting from a fairly balanced relationship between demand and supply," said Dom Development's CEO Mikolaj Konopka, quoted in the press release.
He pointed out that in management's view, the new programme to support the purchase of the first flat announced by the government, due to its restriction to the secondary market and the introduction of rigid price limits, would have a marginal impact on the situation on the housing market in Poland's largest cities.
"In turn, the persistently elevated inflation puts off the expected interest rate cuts by Poland's Monetary Policy Council, due to which mortgage loans in Poland remain among the most expensive in the entire European Union," CEO Konopka added.
"Taking into account that in the first quarter of this year we handed over 7 percent more flats to our customers than last year, and that the financial results of developers depend mainly on the number of units handed over to buyers in a given period, everything indicates that we will also end the first three months of 2025 with satisfactory results in terms of revenue as well as profits," said the group's deputy CEO and CFO Monika Dobosz, quoted in the press release.
