In addition, estimated sales revenue was PLN 7.76 billion (EUR 1.8 bln), 1 percent lower than the PAP Biznes consensus.

Estimated capital expenditure on property, plant and equipment and intangible assets amounted to PLN 853 million (EUR 199.3 mln).

EBITDA in the mining area was PLN 113 million (EUR 26.4 mln); in the generation area PLN 735 million (EUR 171.7 mln); in the distribution area PLN 546 million (EUR 127.6 mln) and in the trading area it amounted to PLN 116 million (EUR 27.1 mln).

Estimated net coal production in the second quarter of 2024 was 1.6 million tonnes and total net electricity generation: 4.8 TWh.

Cumulatively after the first six months of 2024, the group estimates that it had an EBITDA of PLN 3.47 billion (EUR 810.6 mln) and an attributable net profit of PLN 2.28 billion (EUR 532.6 mln).

Estimated sales revenue for the period was PLN 16.14 billion (EUR 3.8 bln). In turn, estimated capital expenditure on property, plant and equipment and intangible assets was PLN 1.34 billion (EUR 313 mln).

Estimated EBITDA for the first half of 2024 in the mining area was PLN 271 million (EUR 63.3 mln); in the generation area PLN 1.66 billion (EUR 387.8 mln); in the distribution area PLN 1.16 billion (EUR 271 mln) and in the trading area PLN 196 million (EUR 45.8 mln).

Estimated net coal production was 3.5 million tonnes and total net electricity generation was 9.8 TWh, including 0.7 TWh from biomass and 0.2 TWh from RES.

Sales of distribution services to end-users in the first half of the year amounted to 10.0 TWh, and sales of electricity and gaseous fuel to retail customers 12.5 TWh.
