Enea SAEnea power plans to develop energy storage projects with capacities up to 983 MW in total
Listed power utility Enea plans to develop the area of electricity storage facilities, with the most advanced projects having a total capacity of approximately 983 MW, company representatives announced at a press conference.
"The most advanced projects, most of which have connection conditions, have a capacity of approximately 983 MW. This number will grow, because according to our ambitions, it will be well over 2 GW by 2030," said Enea's deputy CEO Bartosz Krysta.
He said the group aims to complete 42 MW of storage in 2026, about 300 MW in 2027, and 640 MW (including two at Kozienice and Polaniec) by 2028.
"We have a very broad storage pipeline for over 30 projects," said Krysta.
As stated in the presentation, the goal resulting from the group's development strategy is to achieve at least 1,330 MW of new capacity in electricity storage facilities by 2035.
