Enea SAEnea power wants to speed up investments in RES
Listed power group Enea wants to accelerate investments in renewable energy sources, company representatives told a press conference.
"Our level of implementation of investments in RES is not sufficient for us. We had to take a moment to breathe, restructure, change the formula. (...) We are in a very good place to accelerate and catch up with the time we needed to eliminate unnecessary investments or those that have no business rationale," said Enea's deputy CEO Dalida Gepfert.
"We will dynamically, consistently move towards 'greening' the business, towards investments in RES," said the deputy CEO Bartosz Krysta.
According to the company's presentation, at the end of the first half of 2024, Enea had 71 MW of capacity in photovoltaic farms and 71.6 MW in wind farms.
At the end of 2024, capacity in PV is expected to increase to 92.6 MW and in wind - to 81.6 MW.
According to the deputy CEO, Enea Eko - a new company in the Enea group - is to take care of energy efficiency development. The company is to offer green products and power purchase contracts. It will start its operations by offering energy audits of companies.
