Enter Air SAEnter Air carrier takes delivery of new Boeing plane, awaitis another five
Poland's largest private air carrier Enter Air has expanded its fleet with another B737 MAX 8 aircraft delivered directly from the manufacturer. This is the first of six such deliveries planned for 2025 and 2026, Enter Air said in a press release.
"With the arrival of the SP-EXD aircraft in Poland, we are beginning the announced process of strengthening our fleet with additional B737 MAX 8 aircraft. This is in response to the growing demand for our services on the Polish and European markets," said Enter Air's CEO Grzegorz Polaniecki, quoted in the press relase.
As he pointed out, aircraft of this type are distinguished primarily by their high fuel efficiency and consume up to several percent less fuel compared to Boeing's previous generations, which significantly reduces Enter Air's operating costs.
"SP-EXD arrived in Warsaw on Thursday, directly from Seattle after a flight of over 10 hours. This gives us much greater opportunities to plan operations, especially in the winter season, when most of our aircraft fly to distant destinations such as Kenya, Zanzibar, the Maldives and Sri Lanka," CEO Polaniecki added.
The new aircraft, registered as SP-EXD, will be the 10th aircraft of this type in Enter Air's fleet. Before the arrival of SP-EXD, Enter Air's fleet consisted of 33 aircraft, 24 B737-800s and 9 B737 MAX 8s.
The carrier plans to take delivery of another five new B737 MAX 8 aircraft directly from the manufacturer at the end of 2025 and in 2026.
In addition, the Enter Air group also operates four aircraft belonging to the Swiss airline Chair Airlines and four aircraft belonging to Fly4 Airlines, a joint venture with TUI, which leases aircraft with crews to airlines.
