Grenevia industrials receives positive verdict on cassation appeal filed by its subsidiary

Listed industrials company Grenevia's management board has received a positive verdict from the Supreme Administrative Court on the cassation appeal filed by its subsidiary Famur Finance, the company said in a market filing.


As reported, the cassation appeal was filed against the 2019 judgment of the Regional Administrative Court in Gliwice against the decision made by the head of the Tax Administration Chamber (IAS) to refuse to acknowledge an overpayment of value added tax for October 2013, in which the Supreme Administrative Court overturned the appealed judgment in its entirety.

As reported, in connection with the judgment, an amount of PLN 17 million (EUR 4 mln) was recognised in the consolidated financial income of the Grenevia Group for 2024 on account of unduly paid interest on value added tax for October 2013, plus the interest due on this amount.
