ING Bank Śląski SAING BSK lender to pay dividend of PLN 25.18 per share for 2024; M. Boleslawski appointed as CEO
Listed lender ING BSK's ordinary general meeting of shareholders has decided to earmark PLN 3.28 billion (EUR 750.4 mln) from the profit generated in 2024 for the payment of dividend, which translates into a dividend of PLN 25.18 (EUR 5.90). As of Tuesday, April 29, Michal Boleslawski has replaced Bruno Bartkiewicz in the position of bank's CEO.
The amount earmarked for dividends represents 75 percent of ING BSK's profit for 2024. The bank assessed that a dividend at this level takes into account both its current financial and capital situation and its development plans.
Shareholders have set May 6 as the dividend record date and May 12, 2025, as the payment date.
Tuesday marks the last day on the management board of the bank's former CEO, Bruno Bartkiewicz. He left the board after the general meeting due to the expiration of his term.
Michal Boleslawski has been appointed to replace Bartkiewicz as the bank's CEO. In September 2024, the supervisory board of ING BSK decided on the appointment, subject to the required approval of Poland’s financial market regulator KNF.
The appointment was to be effective as of the date of the ordinary general meeting of shareholders approving the 2024 financial statements, but not earlier than the date of the KNF's approval. Poland's financial watchdog agreed to appoint Boleslawski as chairman in December 2024.
