InPost logistics signs partnership with British fashion e-comm ASOS

Amsterdam-listed parcel locker operator InPost has signed a partnership agreement with the UK's leading online fashion retailer ASOS, InPost stated in a press release. The group indicated that the deal introduces the UK's first next-day delivery service to OOH outlets.

It was reported that InPost now has the largest network of Paczkomat parcel machines and PUDO points in the UK, with 12,800 points.

"By introducing the first nationwide next-day delivery service to Paczkomat parcel machines and PUDO outlets, we are setting a new standard for delivery. ASOS is the perfect partner for such a collaboration - a brand that shares our commitment to innovation and improving the shopping experience," said the CEO of InPost UK Neil Kuschel, quoted in the press release.

It was pointed out that the D+1 delivery service to OOH outlets is a significant step in the development of InPost's delivery in the UK. It will be the first to benefit ASOS customers, who will be able to select their nearest OOH point as their preferred delivery option during payment.

The launch of the D+1 service is the result of InPost's strategic efforts to accelerate its growth and strengthen its infrastructure in the UK, the group's fastest growing market.

In April, InPost announced the acquisition of UK courier company Yodel - significantly increasing its delivery capabilities and positioning it as the third independent logistics operator in the UK.

"The purchase of Yodel has accelerated InPost's expansion in the UK by five years. The group estimates an increase in volume to around 300 million parcels per year, an immediate expansion of its vendor base to over 700 e-commerce shops and around 8 percent market share," InPost said in the press release.

"The acquisition of Yodel follows the successful acquisition of Menzies Distribution in October 2024, giving InPost full control of the logistics process in the UK," it added.
