Kety metals posts PLN 169 million attributable net profit in Q2

Listed metals group Kety posted PLN 169 million (EUR 39.5 mln) attributable net profit in the second quarter and PLN 293 million (EUR 68.5 mln) EBITDA. Both net profit and EBITDA were higher than in the prior year period at PLN 166 million (EUR 38.9 mln) and PLN 256 million (EUR 60 mln), respectively.


The company's second quarter revenue was PLN 1.44 billion (EUR 337.1 mln), against PLN 1.3 billion (EUR 304.4 mln) in the prior year period.

Operating profit amounted to PLN 235 million (EUR 55 mln), compared to PLN 205 million (EUR 47.9 mln) a year earlier.

In the entire first half of the year, the Kety Group had PLN 2.8 billion (EUR 654.4 mln) in revenue, PLN 405 million (EUR 94.7 mln) in operating profit and PLN 290 million (EUR 67.8 mln) in net profit of the parent company.
