Listed copper and silver producer KGHM is not concerned about the implementation of its investment plan for 2025, according to statements made by management representatives at a press conference following the release of group's financial report for the first half of the year.
"The implementation for the first half of the year is PLN 1.512 billion, 4 percent less than in the prior year period, but last year's plan was PLN 4.1 billion, and now it is PLN 3.8 billion, which is 8 percent lower," KGHM's deputy CEO Zbigniew Bryja told the conference.
"This does not cause us concern, as it is a natural stage in the development of individual investments, commissioning, execution and entry into projects. We know that this parameter will be improved by the end of the year," he added.
In the first half of 2025, KGHM's capital expenditure exceeded PLN 1.5 billion (EUR 352.8 mln).
The group plans to allocate PLN 3.8 billion (EUR 893.76 mln) for investments in 2025.
