Korean bank KEXIM enters Polish market, opens representative office in Warsaw
The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) opened a representative office in Poland in June, the investor, owner and manager of office properties Globalworth Poland said in a press release.
The representative office in Warsaw is expected to support Korean companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine, and to participate in reconstruction projects in Ukraine.
The Export-Import Bank of Korea is a state-owned financial institution that supports South Korean exports, foreign investment and economic cooperation by providing loans, guarantees and managing government funds such as the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF). The bank serves as the official export credit agency (ECA).
