Kruk SAKruk debt collector expects 2025 to bring record-high profit and cash EBITDA results
Listed debt collector Kruk expects 2025 to be the best year ever in terms of net profit, gross profit and cash EBITDA, company representatives told a conference following the release of Kruk's quarterly report. The management board has upheld its target of investing approximately PLN 2.5 billion (EUR 590 mln) in debt portfolios throughout 2025.
"We expect this to be our best year in terms of net profit, gross profit and cash EBITDA," Kruk's CEO Piotr Krupa told the conference.
The group's net profit after three quarters of 2025 amounted to PLN 877 million (EUR 207 mln), down 9 percent year on year, cash EBITDA rose 13 percent year on year to PLN 2,007 million (EUR 473.65 mln), and gross profit declined 7 percent year on year to PLN 891 million (EUR 210.3 mln).
Kruk had previously announced that its target for 2025 was to invest approximately PLN 2.5 billion (EUR 590 mln) in debt portfolios, and on Thursday, the management board confirmed this planned level.
Expenditures on the purchase of debt portfolios in the first three quarters of 2025 reached PLN 1,427 million (EUR 336.8 mln), down by 13 percent year on year.
"Our outlook has not changed, we want to end this year with nearly PLN 2.5 billion [in debt portfolios - MI ed.]. Our goal is to get close to PLN 2.5 billion in investments (...). It will be a solid investment year," CEO Krupa said.
"Expenditures of PLN 1.4 billion, knowing what we have already won, confirm that we are on track for investments in the range of PLN 2.4-2.5 billion by the end of the year," added board member Michal Zasepa, responsible for finance and investor relations.
