LPP SALPP Logistics launches warehouse in Romania to handle region's e-commerce
Listed fashion retailer LPP's logistics operator LPP Logistics has launched its second e-commerce warehouse in the region in Romania, the company said in a press release. By the end of 2025, the company plans to spend a total of PLN 450 million (EUR 105.2 mln) on the development of its sourcing and distribution network, including an increase in warehouse space to 700,000 square metres.
The 40,000 square metre facility in Romania is already the second fulfilment centre managed by LPP Logistics in the country, which will allow for additional handling of up to 400,000 orders per day.
LPP Logistics said it will use the new location to improve the delivery of online orders to customers in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Hungary.
"In order to meet expectations, we have taken the decision to launch a second e-commerce warehouse in Romania, which will allow us to increase our operational capacity and speed up the delivery of orders," said LPP's CEO Sebastian Soltys, quoted in the press release.
"This is our third investment in this country, one of the fastest growing countries in the region," he added.
