Maximum income in new housing support scheme set at PLN 6,5k net, says economic dev. min.
Poland's government housing support programme's maximum income has been set at PLN 6,500 (EUR 1,561), minister of economic development and technology Krzysztof Paszyk told Radio Zet.
Last week, Paszyk unveiled a new support programme for home buyers.
"We are introducing a number of limits that will be a condition for access to credit, a maximum price per square metre that will admit to the programme. Our proposal is PLN 11,000 for the five largest cities and PLN 10,000 for the remaining towns and cities," he said.
"The second limit is the maximum income. For one person it's PLN 6,500 net income, for two maximum PLN 9,500, for three PLN 11,500, for four people - PLN 13,500 and PLN 15,500 for 5-person households. We cannot support the richest with state aid to access housing," the minister added.
