mBank lender meets requirements to pay dividend of up to 75 pct of 2024 profit

Listed lender mBank has received an individual recommendation from Poland's financial watchdog KNF confirming that the bank meets the requirements to pay dividends of up to 75 percent of its 2024 profit, the bank said in a market filing.


As indicated, the maximum amount of the payout cannot exceed the amount of the annual profit net of profit earned in 2024 which has already been recognised as own funds.

The bank's net profit for 2024 amounted to PLN 2.236 billion (EUR 534 mln) at the stand-alone level and PLN 2.243 billion (EUR 536 mln) at the consolidated level.

The bank counted the net profit achieved in the first three quarters of 2024 of PLN 1.253 billion (EUR 299.4 mln) at the stand-alone level and PLN 1.257 billion (EUR 300.4 mln) at the consolidated level as own funds.
