Mercator Medical sees its Kyiv office damaged in Russian attack

As a result of the Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, buildings in which listed medical gloves producer Mercator Medical's subsidiary leases office and warehouse space were damaged, the company said in a market filing. The value of the company's goods in the damaged warehouse is estimated at approximately PLN 1.8 million (EUR 424,980).


As reported, the attack took place on Saturday, October 25, and, to the company's knowledge, no Mercator Medical TOB employees were harmed. However, the company's office was destroyed, and part of the warehouse was damaged.

"The issuer currently has no knowledge of the extent of damage or destruction to the company's goods in the warehouse or the amount of losses. The value of the company's goods in the damaged warehouse is estimated at approximately PLN 1.8 million. Direct access to the buildings is currently not possible," Mercator Medical added.
