Panattoni real estate to build factory for BSH in Poland
Industrial real estate developer Panattoni will build a small domestic appliances factory for BSH in Poland, Panattoni stated in a press release. BSH Home Appliances Group, a manufacturer of home appliances in Europe, wants to strengthen its operations in Poland, with the total value of the project amounting to around PLN 600 million (EUR 140.4 mln) in the coming years.
BSH Home Appliances Group will move the production of small home appliances from its current location to a new, larger factory in Rudna Wielka, near Rzeszow. Construction is scheduled for completion in mid-2026.
The factory will be the workplace for more than 1,000 people from the BSH team in Rzeszow.
"The construction of this new factory for small domestic appliances is another milestone for our company and the best confirmation that BSH feels very comfortable in Poland and sees good prospects here. (...) We are creating more than seven thousand jobs in six factories, logistics centres, two research and development centres and shared service centres," CEO of BSH in Poland, Konrad Pokutycki, said, quoted in the press release.
"So far we have invested almost one and a half billion euros in Poland. This has a substantial impact on the development of the cities and regions where we operate," he added.
BSH Home Appliances is a leading manufacturer of home appliances in Europe, known for its commitment to improving the quality of life through innovative and high-quality products.
Established in 1967 as a joint venture between Bosch and Siemens, BSH has evolved into a global player with around 38 factories worldwide. BSH has been 100 percent owned by the Bosch Group since January 2015.
