PGE power's heating unit inks agreement on construction of 28 MWt gas-fired boiler plant

Listed power utility PGE's heating unit, PGE Energia Ciepla, has signed an agreement for the construction of a modern 28 MWt gas-fired boiler plant with associated systems in Nowe Czarnowo near Gryfino (West Pomeranian region, northern Poland), PGE said in a press release. The value of the signed agreement exceeds PLN 32 million (EUR 7.5 mln) net.


PGE reported that the Polish company Enervigo, selected in a tender, was the contractor for the investment.

The new 28 MWt heat source will consist of three gas-fired water boilers and the necessary technical infrastructure and it is scheduled to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2026.
