mBank SAPoland's financial watchdog KNF wants mBank lender's buffer ratio to remain at 0.5 pct
Poland's financial market regulator KNF does not want to change the buffer of another systemically important institution, listed lender mBank, therefore it will remain at 0.5 percent, mBank said in a market filing.
The company announced that it had received a letter from the KNF's office informing it that administrative proceedings had been initiated against banks in cases where the buffer ratio of another systemically important institution may change.
No administrative proceedings have been initiated against mBank, which means that the value of the buffer ratio of another systemically important institution remains unchanged.
mBank is currently required to maintain a buffer ratio of another systemically important institution equivalent to 0.5 percent of its total risk exposure.
