Poland's flag airline LOT acquires two additional Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft
Poland's flag airline LOT Polish Airlines (PLL LOT) has acquired two additional Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, the infrastructure minister Dariusz Klimczak announced.
"LOT Airlines has acquired two additional Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft to join the national carrier's fleet. In the face of global challenges related to the availability of wide-body aircraft, this success opens up new opportunities for LOT Polish Airlines to expand in line with its development strategy," Klimczak assessed.
Currently, LOT's long-haul fleet consists of fifteen Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, including eight 787-8s and seven 787-9s.
"The new machines will allow us to increase the number of long-haul connections and launch new routes envisaged in the strategy until 2028," the minister added.
