Poland's pharmacy market up by 12.8 pct y/y in March - sector researcher
Polish pharmacy market's value increased by 12.8 percent year on year in March to over PLN 5.27 billion (EUR 1.23 bln), researcher PEX PharmaSequence said in a report.
Polish pharmacies' sales rose by 7.2 percent month on month.
The turnover of a statistical pharmacy in March was PLN 427,000 (EUR 99,576.40), up by 14.8 percent from the prior year period.
The average retail price of a medicine was PLN 32.68 (EUR 7.62), up 1.3 percent month on month and up by 8.5 percent year on year.
The average pharmacy margin for all medicines in March was 26.5 percent, up by 1.0 percent year on year and down by 0.2 percent month on month.
