Poland's pharmacy market up by 7.8 pct y/y in December - sector researcher
Polish pharmacy market's value increased by 7.8 percent year on year in December 2024 to nearly PLN 5.1 billion (EUR 1.18 bln), researcher PEX PharmaSequence said in a report.
Polish pharmacies' sales rose by 6.3 percent month on month.
The turnover of a statistical pharmacy in December was PLN 411,500 (EUR 96,620), up by 10.2 percent from the prior year period.
The average retail price of a medicine was PLN 31.5 (EUR 7.4), down 0.2 percent month on month and up by 8.9 percent year on year.
The average pharmacy margin for all medicines in December was 25.3 percent, down by 5.4 percent from the prior year period and down by 1.1 percent month on month.
