Polenergia SAPolenergia consolidates its energy sales activities by merging its units
Listed renewables group Polenergia's management board decided to merge the group's distribution and sales units, Polenergia Obrot and Polenergia Sprzedaz, the company said in a press release. Polenergia Obrot will take over Polenergia Sprzedaz, with the process lasting at least until the end of 2025. The operations will be continued under the Polenergia Obrot brand.
"The group decided to merge the two companies in order to ensure the best integration of competencies in the areas of energy sales and trading. This will also simplify management processes and increase the group's financial and reporting transparency in this segment of its operations," Polenergia said in the press release.
"In its current strategy for 2025-2030, Polenergia has identified the conclusion of PPA sales agreements as one of its key activities, which will enable the optimal commercialisation of its existing and planned generation assets, which will have a positive impact on the additional stabilisation of revenues at the level expected by the group and its shareholders," it added.
Until the formal merger, both companies will continue to serve their customers on the existing terms, guaranteeing them continuity of contracts. After the merger, the agreements will remain valid and will be serviced by the merged entity.
