Polenergia SAPolenergia renewables assumes EBITDA growth to approx. PLN 1.6 bln in '30 and capital expenditure of PLN 4.6 bln
Listed renewables group Polenergia's strategy for 2025-2030 assumes EBITDA growth to approximately PLN 1.6 billion (EUR 384 mln) in 2030 and generation capacity to 1.5 GW from 0.6 GW currently, the company said in its newest strategy. The group assumes capital expenditure of around PLN 4.6 billion (EUR 1.1 bln) and the board does not plan to recommend dividend payments.
"The priority is to implement the offshore wind projects Baltic 2 and 3, as well as Baltic 1 (a total of about 3,000 MW, projects being developed under the JV), which will generate stable and high EBITDA," it wrote.
Funding for the implementation of the strategy will come from funds generated by the company, including, among others, the assumed divestments, as well as external financing, which, depending on the amount required, the market situation and other factors, will be raised in the form of bank loans, bond issues, as well as from existing or future investors, in the form of share issues or hybrid instruments.
Expenditure, it is stated, will be mainly for investments related to offshore wind development.
"Due to the high capital expenditures, the company's management board does not plan to recommend dividend payments over the strategy horizon," it added.
Polenergia said that the strategy assumes the development of the most promising directions of the RES market, while limiting the activities of areas that do not generate sufficient added value and do not create synergies with the core business.
