Polenergia renewables begins construction of 35 MWp PV farm

Listed renewables company Polenergia begins construction of the Rajkowy photovoltaic farm with a total capacity of 35 MWp. The new farm will ultimately generate approximately 37 GWh of electricity per year, the company announced in a press release.


It was announced that the new PV power plant will be built in the municipality of Pelplin, in the Pomeranian region, and may start supplying energy to the grid as early as 2026.

The total value of the investment in the new farm is around PLN 75 million (EUR 17.6 mln). The project has a final investment decision (FID), a building permit and conditions for connection to the grid.

The Polenergia group's portfolio currently includes 13 wind farms and 8 photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 642 MW.

The company recently obtained a licence for the Szprotowa I&II photovoltaic farms (67 MW). After the launch of the Rajkowy farm, the number of photovoltaic farms will increase to 9, and the installed capacity of all land-based energy sources within Polenergia will amount to 677 MW.
