Listed builder Polimex Mostostal will likely return to the issue of dividend payments in 2029 at the earliest, after achieving its targets for 2026-2028, management board representatives announced at a press conference on Tuesday.
"The earliest it can appear [the dividend - PAP ed.] is 2029. We are working on estimated values and if we implement the strategy, and I am deeply convinced that we will implement it," CEO Jakub Stypula told the conference.
"(...) Once we will achieve the guidelines for 2026-2028 (...), it will be possible to talk about how much, when and in what amount per share [the dividend will be - PAP ed.]," he added.
Polimex Mostostal's strategy for 2026-2028 assumes operating revenues of over PLN 10 billion (EUR 2.4 bln) and EBIT margin of over 4.0 percent. Dividend payments are being considered for subsequent years.
"The goal for the period 2026-2028 is to achieve revenues of over PLN 10 billion, with a focus on profitability and margins. We want to achieve this level of revenue while maintaining 4 percent EBIT during this period. If we meet these parameters, we will be able to talk about the prospect of paying dividends," added deputy CEO Marzena Hebda-Sztandkie.
