Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) expects to end 2025 with turnover exceeding PLN 20 bln
Not all companies belonging to the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) are in a position to obtain external financing, CEO Adam Leszkiewicz told a press conference at the 33rd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce. Deputy CEO Marcin Idzik pointed out that the group will end 2025 with a turnover of over PLN 20 billion (EUR 4.7 bln). PGZ has just signed a strategic cooperation agreement with British defence sector company Babcock.
"Not all companies are in a position to finance investments from external sources. That is why we cooperate with banks to guarantee the possibility of financing our activities within the capital group. One of the solutions that we will support and develop is cash pooling," said CEO Leszkiewicz.
"We know which companies are in a good situation and we also know which ones require our special attention," he added.
Moreover, deputy CEO Marcin Idzik added that PGZ will end 2025 with a turnover of over PLN 20 billion (EUR 4.7 bln).
"This will translate into generated profit, and our profit (...) is allocated to the development and financial needs of our companies," Idzik pointed out.
Babcock International Group, the British defence sector company, has announced in a press release signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the Polish Armaments Group to expand cooperation in the area of maritime and aviation programmes.
Babcock is currently working with PGZ as a platform design supplier and technology partner in the Miecznik shipbuilding programme.
