R.Power buys stakes in PV projects in Portugal

Polish photovoltaic company R.Power's subsidiary has entered into agreements with companies from the Portuguese Gesto-Energia group to purchase shares with rights to photovoltaic projects in Portugal with a total installed capacity of 24.1 MWp, R.Power said in a press release.

As stated, the projects owned by the companies whose shares are the subject of the sale agreement have either been developed to the RTB (ready-to-build) stage or are in the construction stage.

The sale price of the shares does not exceed 10 percent of R.Power's equity and has been set at market conditions.

The company said that the transaction implements the group's strategy to increase the number of photovoltaic projects in European markets.
