Torpol signs annexes with PKP PLK increasing contract value by approx. PLN 311.12 mln net

The consortium with listed builder Torpol has signed annexes to an agreement with Poland's railway infrastructure operator PKP PLK for the construction and detailed design of the E 65 line between Bedzin and Katowice Piotrowice, the company said in a market filing. The consortium’s contract value increased by nearly PLN 311.12 million (EUR 73.2 mln) net.


Torpol explained that the consortium has inked further annexes to secure funds covering indexation limits and additional work costs.

Torpol announced that, taking into account the previously concluded annexes to the agreement, the value of the consortium's remuneration for the performance of the agreement increased by PLN 383.1 million net or EUR 90.1 million (i.e. PLN 471.2 million or EUR 110. 8 million gross), totalling approximately PLN 3,785.4 million or EUR 890.3 million net (i.e. PLN 4,656 million or EUR 1.1 billion gross).

Torpol's share in the consortium is approximately 70 percent.

The investment is to be completed within 228 months, including 48 months envisaged for the basic contract.
