Allegro.eu S.A.UPDATE: Allegro e-commerce issues PLN 1 bln in bonds
Listed e-commerce platform Allegro.eu has issued 1 million A series bonds worth PLN 1 billion (EUR 234.6 mln), the company wrote in a market filing. The total investor demand exceeded PLN 2.7 billion (EUR 633.4 mln).
The allocation of bonds took place on July 3, 2025. The bonds were allocated to 28 entities, and no reduction in orders was made.
"Demand for Allegro's bonds exceeded initial expectations by more than five times, with the initial plan set at PLN 500 million," the company pointed out in the press release.
The issue took place as part of the company's previously established bond issue programme.
The bonds will bear interest at a variable WIBOR 6M rate plus a base interest margin of 1.30 percent per year.
"This is a significantly better outcome compared to recent transactions of similar magnitude by other large Polish companies, which were priced 20-70 basis points higher," the company said.
"For Allegro, this translates to annual interest cost savings of several million zlotys for the next five years compared to other such issuances," it added.
