Warsaw court declares BFG's decision to start compulsory restructuring of GNB as unlawful

The Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw ruled that Poland's state bank guarantee fund BFG's decision to start the forced restructuring of listed lender Getin Noble Bank was made unlawfully. This decision involved cancelling the bank's capital instruments, applying a temporary restructuring measure, and appointing a bank administrator, Getin Holding said in a market filing.


"At the same time, the issuer informs that the case from the complaint filed on October 7, 2022, by the issuer against the decision of Poland's state bank guarantee fund BFG has not yet been resolved," Getin Noble said in the market filing.
