Microsoft to invest PLN 2.8 bln in Poland in data centres, cloud and AI, says PM
The global Microsoft operating systems will invest PLN 2.8 billion (EUR 672.6 mln) in data centres, the cloud storage and artificial intelligence in Poland, Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a press conference.
"We are talking about PLN 2.8 billion, but in fact this investment should have a scale incomparably larger in terms of its effects. Thousands of Polish scientists, managers, start-ups will have these cutting-edge tools - we are talking about data centres, the cloud storage, AI, this will grow disproportionately every year," he added.
