PGZ arms companies submit requests for funding from Poland's Capital Investment Fund for PLN 2.4 bln
Companies in Poland's state armaments group PGZ have submitted four applications for funding from the Capital Investment Fund for investment projects related to increasing ammunition production to a total of PLN 2.4 billion (EUR 559.8 mln), the assets ministry said in response to a parliamentary question.
"The Ministry of State Assets does not have funds in its own budget with which it could inject funds into companies subordinate to the ministry," the ministry wrote.
"However, the Minister of State Assets is the disposer of the Capital Investment Fund (FIK) which has funds to recapitalise companies under the NAREW programme and under the law on subsidising measures aimed at increasing the production of ammunition, especially large calibre ammunition," it added.
It added that on March 28, 2025, the companies comprising the PGZ group submitted four applications for co-financing from the FIK of investment projects related to the expansion of the aforementioned capabilities for a total amount of PLN 2.4 billion (EUR 559.8 mln).
