Poland invests over PLN 10 bln from EU recovery fund grants
Poland invested more than PLN 10 billion (EUR 2.4 bln) from EU recovery fund grants, minister of development funds and regional policy Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz wrote on X.
She added that on Thursday another PLN 232 million (EUR 55.7 mln) has been allocated to investors for, among other things, PLN 150 million (EUR 36 mln) for railway modernisation, PLN 25 million (EUR 6 mln) for modern agricultural production and PLN 16 million (EUR 3.8 mln) of the next tranche for high-speed internet across the country.
"This year we plan to invest another PLN 50 billion from EU recovery fund grants and more than PLN 30 billion from EU recovery fund loans," she added.
In total, Poland is to receive EUR 59.8 billion (EUR 14.4 bln) from the national recovery plan KPO, including EUR 25.27 billion (EUR 6.1 bln) in grants and EUR 34.54 billion (EUR 8.3 bln) in loans.
