Poland with over 1.067 mln foreigners performing work at end-March 2025 - stats office

The number of foreigners working in Poland at the end of March 2025 stood at 1,067,000, up by 5.5 percent year on year and by 0.9 percent month on month, Poland's stats office GUS reported.


According to GUS, at end-March, the share of foreigners in the total number of those performing work in Poland was 6.5 percent.

Among foreigners performing work, 405,100 people were employed exclusively under contract of mandate and related contracts. This was 5.6 percent more than in the prior year period and 0.7 percent more than in the previous month.

The largest group of foreigners working in Poland were citizens of Ukraine. At the end of March, there were 714,900 Ukrainians performing work in Poland, up by 3.6 percent year on year and by 0.9 percent month on month.
