Poland plans to increase certainty of tax law interpretation
Poland's Ministry of Finance plans to increase the certainty and uniformity of the tax law interpretation and is working on an amendment to the mandatory disclosure rules (MDR) on reporting tax schemes, the ministry said in a response to a parliamentary question.
"The planned amendments are aimed at increasing the consistency of rules on the issuance and scope of protection arising from individual interpretations of tax laws, as well as increasing the certainty and uniformity of tax law interpretation and making it easier for taxpayers to fulfil their obligations under tax law. This work is currently at the stage of internal analysis at the MinFin," the Ministry of Finance states.
"Work is also underway to amend the provisions on reporting of tax schemes (MDR). In particular, it is planned to simplify and streamline the obligations by, among other things, clarifying the provisions in the area of tax schemes and reducing some of the existing reporting obligations. Currently, this work is at the stage of internal analyses at the MinFin," it added.
