Poland with PLN 123 bln secured under national recovery plan, including PLN 80 bln in 2025
Poland has signed 775,000 agreements under the national recovery plan KPO, totalling PLN 123 billion (EUR 28.85 bln), of which as much as PLN 80 billion (EUR 18.8 bln) this year, the minister of development funds and regional policy Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz announced on X.
"We are in the last year of the KPO and the pace of investment is really becoming dizzying. We have just signed the 775,000th contract. Thus, we have already contracted PLN 123 billion, of which as much as 80 billion this year," Pelczynska-Nalecz wrote.
On Tuesday, the Polish Development Fund (PFR) told PAP Biznes that the total amount of disbursements made to beneficiaries of KPO grants by July 1 had risen to PLN 21.736 billion (EUR 5.1 bln) against PLN 20.1 billion (EUR 4.7 bln) as of May 20.
Poland's national recovery plan's budget amounts to over EUR 59.8 billion, including EUR 25.27 billion in grants and EUR 34.54 billion in preferential loans.
Out of this amount, so far, PLN 67 billion (EUR 15.7 bln) has been transferred from Brussels to Poland from three payment applications and about PLN 26 billion (EUR 6.1 bln) is expected to be transferred during the summer.
