Poland sees room for bank tax changes but fiscally neutral, says FinMin
There is room for changes to the bank tax but a fiscally neutral ones, Poland's Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski has announced.
"The current structure of the bank tax is not optimal. On the other hand, given the fiscal situation, there is no room for the revenue from this tax to fall," Domanski said.
"There is room for discussion on its design. This would perhaps involve broadening the spectrum of investments, the financing of which would be exempt from this tax, but this would have to be balanced in some way. There is no room for less money to come in from this tax," he added.
